Standing in the pouring rain, waiting for the flood.
Knowing it is on the way, She wouldn't stop it if she could.
Pain thru out her body, she knows without a doubt,
This is the way the Lupus flares, moving in her body and all thru out.
The rain is pouring down, and thru her veins she sees,
Her energy rushing out, her laughter falling apart at the seams.
How long will this flare up last, where in her body will it go,
Will it move fast or will it move slow?
The rain will stop, this flood will dry, she keeps all this in mind,
She will have her body back, if only for a short time.
