Spacial Relations

I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. You have relationships with your friends, spouse, your parents, coworkers, your boss, your aquaintances and complete stragers. All of my relationships are unique and so very different, but they are all very real. One of the things I have grown to love about being a 30 something is my ability to just be myself, take it or leave it. I think this is the general consensus with all of my friends this age. There is just something very liberating about maintaining many types of relationships and letting them transpire in the most natural of settings. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.

Quote of the day:
Mr. Big: What would you come back as?
Carrie: Someone who knows better.
Mr. Big: You smell nice.
Carrie: I'm not sleeping with you tonight.
Mr. Big: I thought we were just having dinner.
Carrie: We are.
