The below note was written by a very dear friend. My oldest friend, Jennesa. We have been friends since we were 8 years old. We have stuck together thru thick and thin...She always tells me what a good writer I am...and today she posted this note on Facebook. She is not one to spill her feelings or much of anything at all....so you can imagine how much this means to me that she not only took the time to write something...but she took the time to write it for/about me. I love you Nessa!

Atari was the best game console invented. I spent hours on hours perfecting my game with the likes of Frogger, Donkey Kong, and Space Invaders while jammin to Amber's records. Yes records, what are they called like 45s? You know the small records. Madonna and Michael Jackson come to mind. This was an excellent time next to playing Barbie. Amber wasn't that into Barbie although she did have them. At my house my entire living room would be set up with Barbie's world. I'm sure my Mother loved that. Back to Atari..Amber's parents were the coolest. They let her have a T.V. in her bedroom and can you believe it was a color tv at that! Best set up, we sat on her huge queen bed with the fancy headboard fit for a queen, but she was just a princess then. With the TV stacked on the chest of drawers full of her fun stockings and striped leg warmers. Amber's Mom loved to dress her in lots of colors. Amber secretly wanted to be Punky Brewster. I remember her room full of CPKids, Rainbow Brite dolls, and always a disaster area. Oh and a tribute to Prucious, the pure evilness he went through with playing dress up. He was a good cat to put up with us. There was always good snacks thanks to Amber's mom Fran. Pudding cups, pop sickles, and Amber's Dad's Blue Bell vanilla ice cream (my fav back then). If it was ever empty when he got to it after a long hard day at work, it was probably my fault. Sorry Pops!
